Camouflage training for Colorado artists

Denver–Aurora–Lakewood is one of the strongest beauty markets in the Mountain West. Boulder, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins and mountain towns add outdoor clients. Camouflage demand is real; compliance is local and must be checked carefully.

The SKINEAV 1:1 Zoom course teaches Colorado artists scar and stretch mark assessment, custom colour matching, conservative technique on healed tissue, and honest consultations — live and private with Evelyn from Canada. It is not a video library.

Tuition: $2,997 USD for the live online 1:1 Zoom course taught from Canada, or $3,697 USD with the training kit shipped to the US. Payment plans are available, e.g. $500 deposit + 3 x $999. See the US course page for what is included.

How body art rules work in Colorado (check before enrolling)

Colorado does not use a single simple statewide tattoo-artist license model like some states. Requirements are commonly set by counties and cities, with CDPHE as a starting contact. Before you take camouflage clients: call your county health department about body art / tattoo / permanent cosmetics permitting for artist and establishment. Rules in Denver may differ from Colorado Springs or mountain counties. The SKINEAV Certificate of Completion is not a Colorado or county license.

What Colorado artists ask before enrolling

"Why check carefully?" Authorization is often local. Assuming a statewide free pass is a common mistake.

"Licensed elsewhere — work in Denver after course?" Only after meeting Denver/Colorado local requirements.

"Outdoor sun a factor?" Yes — seasonal tan and SPF conversations are essential.

How the course fits a Colorado beauty business

Locally permitted Colorado artists can add camouflage after confirming county/city scope. Artists new to Colorado should secure local authorization before client work.

The course covers the full basics of camouflage, learning on practice skin, theory, machine and ink, pigment chemistry basics, and the business side: finding your audience, building a pricing strategy you set yourself, and spacing sessions properly. You can add the training kit, you receive a SKINEAV Certificate of Completion, and you get six months of mentorship with Evelyn afterwards. It does not promise clients or income. It gives you a skill, a method and someone to ask when a real case comes in.

See the US course overview for the full curriculum and format.

Licensing note: the SKINEAV Certificate of Completion shows you finished Evelyn's training. It is not a state license, permit or registration. Before you tattoo anyone in the US, check and follow the rules of your state, county and city.
