Paramedical camouflage course for Wisconsin artists, live 1:1 on Zoom
One-on-one scar and stretch mark camouflage training on Zoom for artists in Milwaukee, Madison, Green Bay, the Fox Cities and across Wisconsin. Live with Evelyn from Canada, scheduled around Central Time.

Camouflage training for Wisconsin artists
Wisconsin has a large, steady beauty market spread across several cities. Milwaukee and its suburbs have major hospital systems and many plastic surgery practices, Madison has a university medical centre and a well-educated client base, and Green Bay and the Fox Cities have grown into busy regional centres. Microblading and powder brows are easy to find in all of them. Artists who can work confidently on scars and stretch marks are not.
The SKINEAV 1:1 Zoom course helps Wisconsin artists add that specialty. In private live sessions, Evelyn teaches scar and stretch mark assessment, custom colour matching from very fair Northern European skin to deep skin tones, safe technique on healed scar tissue and an honest consultation process.
Tuition: $2,997 USD for the live online 1:1 Zoom course taught from Canada, or $3,697 USD with the training kit shipped to the US. Payment plans are available, e.g. $500 deposit + 3 x $999. See the US course page for what is included.
How tattoo licensing works in Wisconsin
Wisconsin is one of the states with uniform, statewide rules. Under Chapter 463 of the Wisconsin Statutes, no one may tattoo, or call themselves a tattooist, unless they hold a license from the Department of Safety and Professional Services or from a local health department designated as its agent. The statute also stops cities, villages and counties from creating their own separate tattoo licenses. Dentists and physicians tattooing within their professional practice are exempt.
The establishment needs its own license. The DSPS tattoo and body piercing establishment page explains that, depending on your county, the license comes either from the county health department acting as the state's agent or from DSPS directly, after a pre-licensing inspection that checks items such as hand sinks, sterilisation, sharps disposal and approved ink sources. Individual tattooist licenses are renewed every year.
Camouflage places pigment into the skin, so plan on needing a tattooist license and a licensed establishment, and confirm with DSPS or your county agent. The SKINEAV Certificate of Completion is proof of training. It is not a Wisconsin license.
Real training moments

Where Wisconsin camouflage clients are
- Milwaukee metro: the East Side, Wauwatosa, Brookfield, Mequon and the North Shore, close to large hospital campuses
- Madison: the isthmus, Middleton and Fitchburg, with a university medical centre and many health professionals
- Green Bay and the Fox Cities: Appleton, Neenah and Oshkosh, growing markets with few camouflage specialists
- Southeast: Kenosha and Racine, between Milwaukee and Chicago
- Western Wisconsin: Eau Claire and La Crosse, smaller regional centres
Wisconsin clients often ask about surgical scars and stretch marks after pregnancy or weight loss. Read stretch marks after weight loss and abdominal surgery scars.

What Wisconsin artists ask before enrolling
"My county is a DSPS agent. Do I still apply to DSPS?" For the establishment license, DSPS says to contact the county agent instead of applying to the state. Check the DSPS agent list and ask your county which credentials it issues.
"Most of my clients have very fair skin. Is colour matching easier?" Not necessarily. Fair skin can show grey or pink undertones and makes over-saturation obvious. The course spends time on mixing pale, subtle colours and on knowing when to stop.
"Winters here are long. Does that matter for camouflage?" It can. Skin around a scar is often at its palest in winter and darker after summer. The course covers when to schedule sessions and how to explain seasonal colour changes to clients.
Scheduling from Wisconsin
Wisconsin is on Central Time, one hour behind Toronto. A 9 a.m. session in Milwaukee is 10 a.m. for Evelyn. Session times are confirmed in writing in both zones.
What a training week can look like from Wisconsin
A typical week includes one theory session on undertone, scar assessment and contraindications and one live practice session on practice skin with Evelyn correcting your depth and saturation on camera. Homework is practical: mixing swatches for your most common client skin tones, drafting consent and aftercare documents and photographing your practice work in consistent light.
Your first camouflage clients in Wisconsin
Most Wisconsin graduates start with existing clients who mention a scar, then build a small portfolio with written consent. From there, plastic surgeons, breast centres and physical therapists in Milwaukee, Madison and Green Bay can become referral sources. The course covers honest consultations and record keeping, and never promises results.
How the course fits a Wisconsin beauty business
Wisconsin artists who already hold a tattooist license and work in a licensed establishment can usually add camouflage as a new specialist service.
The course covers the full basics of camouflage, learning on practice skin, theory, machine and ink, pigment chemistry basics, and the business side: finding your audience, building a pricing strategy you set yourself, and spacing sessions properly. You can add the training kit, you receive a SKINEAV Certificate of Completion, and you get six months of mentorship with Evelyn afterwards. It does not promise clients or income. It gives you a skill, a method and someone to ask when a real case comes in.
See the US course overview for the full curriculum and format.
Licensing note: the SKINEAV Certificate of Completion shows you finished Evelyn's training. It is not a state license, permit or registration. Before you tattoo anyone in the US, check and follow the rules of your state, county and city.
