Stretch marks after weight loss: camouflage options
You worked hard for the change. The stretch marks left behind can still feel like a reminder. Here is what camouflage can realistically do.

Stretch marks from weight change appear on the abdomen, hips, thighs, arms, chest and back. Once mature, they are often white or silver and spread over a large area.
Stable weight first
If your weight is still changing significantly, I suggest waiting. The skin, and the marks on it, keep shifting with weight change, and new marks can appear. Camouflage is best done once your weight and skin are settled.

Loose skin is a separate issue
Camouflage reduces colour contrast. It does not tighten loose skin or change shape. Some people choose surgery for loose skin first. If you do, the stretch marks that remain, and the scars that surgery leaves, can be assessed for camouflage once healed. See tummy tuck scar camouflage.
Real results and real moments

Large areas
Weight-loss stretch marks often cover big areas. A plan may focus first on the area that bothers you most, then continue. Colour across a large area often needs adjusting section by section.

Frequently asked questions
Should I wait until I reach my goal weight?
It is best to wait until your weight is stable, since stretch marks and skin keep changing with weight.
Can camouflage tighten loose skin?
No. Camouflage changes colour, not shape or skin tightness.
