Hip, thigh and buttock stretch marks: what to know
These are some of the most common areas I treat. Each has its own quirks in colour, sensitivity and healing.

Growth spurts, pregnancy, training and weight change all leave stretch marks on the hips, thighs and buttocks. These areas are also where many clients feel most self-conscious in swimwear and shorts.
Colour changes across the leg
The outer thigh, inner thigh and buttock are often different shades on the same person. The outer thigh sees more sun; the inner thigh is often lighter. I adjust the formula across the area so the result blends with each part of the skin.
“We don’t fix texture, we fix color.”
Evelyn Alvares Vega, founder of SKINEAV
Sensitivity
The inner thigh is usually more sensitive than the outer thigh and hip. Tell me how you feel; we take breaks when you need them.
Real results and real moments

Healing in high-friction areas
Thighs rub together when you walk, and waistbands and underwear rub on the hips. During healing, loose clothing helps a lot. Avoid tight jeans and leggings over the treated area for the first days, and follow your healing guide.
