One-on-one scar and stretch mark camouflage training on Zoom for artists in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Allentown, Harrisburg, Erie and across Pennsylvania. Live with Evelyn, same time zone.

Camouflage training for Pennsylvania artists
Pennsylvania has two very different big markets, Philadelphia in the east and Pittsburgh in the west, plus a long list of mid-sized cities in between. Both big cities are major medical centres, with large hospital systems, plastic surgery practices and a lot of patients living with surgical scars.
Camouflage is still a rare specialty across most of the state. The SKINEAV 1:1 Zoom course teaches Pennsylvania artists the full process, from assessment and colour matching to technique on healed scar tissue, live and one-on-one with Evelyn.
Tuition: $2,997 USD for the live online 1:1 Zoom course taught from Canada, or $3,697 USD with the training kit shipped to the US. Payment plans are available, e.g. $500 deposit + 3 x $999. See the US course page for what is included.
How body art rules work in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania does not have a single state-wide tattoo artist license. Rules are set mostly by local health departments and municipalities, so what you need depends on exactly where you work.
Philadelphia is the clearest example. The city's Department of Public Health requires a body art establishment certificate for businesses offering tattooing, piercing, permanent makeup or microblading, and artists need their own Philadelphia body artist certificate, which includes approved bloodborne pathogen training. Some other counties and boroughs, such as Erie County, have their own body art regulations, and others are still developing them.
Call your county or municipal health department before you take camouflage clients. The SKINEAV Certificate of Completion is proof of training, not a Pennsylvania license or local certificate.

What Pennsylvania artists ask before enrolling
"My town has no specific body art rules. Do I still need to check?" Yes. Local rules change, and other requirements such as business licensing, zoning and bloodborne pathogen training may still apply. Always confirm with your local health department.
"Can I train while working full-time in a salon?" Yes. One-on-one sessions are booked around your schedule.
Scheduling from Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania is on Eastern Time, the same as Evelyn in Toronto. There is no time difference.
Pennsylvania clients and the questions they ask
Pennsylvania clients who find a camouflage artist often have waited years. They tend to ask three things: will it look natural, how many sessions will it take, and will it last. Honest answers are part of the service. Camouflage aims to blend a healed scar or stretch mark closer to the surrounding skin, usually over more than one session, and colour can soften or shift over time, so touch-ups may be needed. Some scars are not good candidates at all. The course gives you a clear consultation structure for these questions, plus screening forms and aftercare sheets you can adapt for a Philadelphia, Pittsburgh or small-town studio. Clients who feel heard, even when the answer is no, often become your best source of referrals.
What a training week can look like from Pennsylvania
A Philadelphia or Pittsburgh student might book an early theory session on undertone and scar assessment and a second guided practice session later in the week. Evelyn watches live on camera and corrects hand position, depth and saturation. Homework is practical: mixing exercises for the skin tones you see most, a screening form, and a photo station so your portfolio shows true colour.
Your first camouflage clients in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania's large hospital systems mean many people live with surgical scars, but your first camouflage clients usually come from people who already know you. Start with existing clients, build a small portfolio with consent, then approach local surgeons and physical therapists. The course covers how to talk about camouflage honestly, without promising results.
Seasonal skin changes in Pennsylvania
Pennsylvania has real seasons, and skin around a scar can look very different in January than in July. The course covers reading undertone rather than surface colour, planning sessions around seasonal tanning, and choosing a slightly conservative match so a client's camouflage still blends as their skin changes through the year. Read sun protection after camouflage.
How the course fits a Pennsylvania beauty business
Because rules vary by city and county, most students add camouflage inside a studio that already meets local requirements, which is the simplest way to start.
The course covers the full basics of camouflage, learning on practice skin, theory, machine and ink, pigment chemistry basics, and the business side: finding your audience, building a pricing strategy you set yourself, and spacing sessions properly. You can add the training kit, you receive a SKINEAV Certificate of Completion, and you get six months of mentorship with Evelyn afterwards. It does not promise clients or income. It gives you a skill, a method and someone to ask when a real case comes in.
See the US course overview for the full curriculum and format.
Licensing note: the SKINEAV Certificate of Completion shows you finished Evelyn's training. It is not a state license, permit or registration. Before you tattoo anyone in the US, check and follow the rules of your state, county and city.
