Paramedical camouflage course for Nevada artists, live 1:1 on Zoom
One-on-one scar and stretch mark camouflage training on Zoom for artists in Las Vegas, Henderson, Reno and across Nevada. Live with Evelyn, scheduled for Pacific Time.

Camouflage training for Nevada artists
Las Vegas is one of the most competitive tattoo and beauty cities in the US, with a strong PMU scene and a large cosmetic surgery market. Clients there are used to high standards and visible results. Reno is smaller but growing, with fewer specialists. In both places, scar and stretch mark camouflage is still a niche service, which makes it a way for an established artist to stand out.
The SKINEAV 1:1 Zoom course teaches the full process in private, live sessions with Evelyn, from assessing a scar to custom colour matching and safe technique on delicate tissue.
Tuition: $2,997 USD for the live online 1:1 Zoom course taught from Canada, or $3,697 USD with the training kit shipped to the US. Payment plans are available, e.g. $500 deposit + 3 x $999. See the US course page for what is included.
How Body Art Cards work in Southern Nevada
In Nevada, body art is regulated mainly by local health authorities. In Clark County, which includes Las Vegas and Henderson, the Southern Nevada Health District issues Body Art Cards to individual artists and permits to establishments.
According to the Health District's Body Art Card FAQs, a Body Art Card is required for tattooing, permanent makeup or piercing anywhere on the body. A separate Microblading Card covers only microblading on the face, so camouflage on the body needs the Body Art Card. At a high level, artists need about six months of documented experience or an apprenticeship under a mentor, current bloodborne pathogen training, and a passing score on the Health District's exam, and must work at a permitted facility.
Outside Clark County, including Reno and Washoe County, check the local health authority. The SKINEAV Certificate of Completion is proof of training, not a Body Art Card, and it does not replace any requirement.
Real training moments

Where Nevada camouflage clients are
- Las Vegas, Henderson and North Las Vegas: about three quarters of Nevada's population, a large cosmetic surgery market and many visitors
- Reno and Sparks: a growing market with very few camouflage specialists
- Carson City: a small market where a specialist can become the local name
Las Vegas clients come from everywhere, so you will meet the full range of skin tones. Many ask about tummy tuck, breast and C-section scars and stretch marks. See how skin colour matching works.

Questions Nevada artists ask before training
"I'm an apprentice in Las Vegas. Can I take the course?" You can learn camouflage at any stage, but in Clark County you may only tattoo clients under the conditions of your card and your mentor. Talk to your mentor and check the Health District's rules before you take camouflage clients.
"Many of my clients are visitors. Can I do camouflage on someone who is only in town for a week?" Camouflage usually needs more than one session, with weeks between them for the colour to settle. The course covers how to plan this with clients who travel, and when it is better to decline a case.
"How do I keep my results consistent under bright studio lights?" Lighting changes how a colour match looks. The course covers how to check a match in daylight-balanced light and how to photograph work so clients and other artists see true colour.
Scheduling from Nevada
Nevada is on Pacific Time, three hours behind Evelyn in Toronto. Many Las Vegas artists work late, so morning sessions are popular: 9 a.m. in Las Vegas is noon in Toronto. Times are confirmed in writing in both zones.
How the course fits a Nevada PMU or tattoo business
Most Nevada students add camouflage inside a permitted studio where they already hold a Body Art Card. The course covers consultation, photography, session spacing and how to set your own prices. It does not promise clients or income. It gives you technique, colour-matching skills and six months of mentorship.
See the US course overview for the full curriculum.
Licensing note: the SKINEAV Certificate of Completion shows you finished Evelyn's training. It is not a state license, permit or registration. Before you tattoo anyone in the US, check and follow the rules of your state, county and city.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a Body Art Card to do camouflage in Las Vegas?
The Southern Nevada Health District says a Body Art Card is needed for tattooing or permanent makeup anywhere on the body. Camouflage on the body is tattooing, so check the Health District's requirements.
Is a Microblading Card enough for camouflage?
According to the Health District, a Microblading Card is limited to microblading on the face. Body camouflage needs a Body Art Card.
Does the SKINEAV certificate count as six months of experience?
The Health District sets its own rules on what counts. Ask them directly. The SKINEAV certificate is a Certificate of Completion, not a Body Art Card.
What time are sessions for Nevada students?
Nevada is three hours behind Toronto. Most students book their morning, which is midday for Evelyn.
Is the course live?
Yes. It is live, one-on-one with Evelyn on Zoom, with six months of mentorship afterwards.
