Scar camouflage on medium and deep skin tones
On deeper skin, a pale scar can be the first thing people notice. That strong contrast is exactly what careful colour matching can reduce.

Many SKINEAV clients have olive, brown or deep skin, and they often tell me the same thing: their scar looks white. A scar that would barely show on very fair skin can be striking on deeper skin.
Undertone is everything
Deep skin is rich in undertone: red, golden, warm brown, neutral, sometimes cool. A formula that is the right depth but slightly ashy or orange stands out. I build the formula around your undertone and test it on your skin first.
“We don’t fix texture, we fix color.”
Evelyn Alvares Vega, founder of SKINEAV
Variation across the body
Deeper skin can vary more between sun-exposed and covered areas. Long scars may need the formula adjusted section by section.

Healing precautions
Some people with deeper skin notice darkening after irritation. Tell me if your skin tends to darken after cuts, waxing or breakouts. We may work more conservatively and space sessions further apart.

Some people darken after irritation. Tell your artist about your history so the plan can be more conservative.
