Camouflage before a wedding or big event: start early
Brides, grooms and guests often call me a few weeks before the date. Here is why it is worth calling months ahead.

Why timing matters
Camouflage pigment needs time to heal and settle, and the colour usually looks different in the first weeks. Most plans also involve more than one session with healing time between. Booking a session days before an event leaves no room for any of that.
A sensible timeline
- As early as possible: free phone consult or photo assessment
- Next: in-clinic assessment and colour test
- Then: sessions spaced out with full healing between
- Leave a buffer before the event, and avoid fresh work before beach holidays

If the date is too close
Sometimes the honest answer is to wait until after the event. For a short-term option, cover makeup or inkless camouflage may be worth discussing. Read camouflage tattoo vs cover makeup.
Dresses, swimwear and photos
Tell me what you plan to wear: a backless dress, a two-piece or a sleeveless outfit changes which areas matter most to you, and we plan around that.

Frequently asked questions
How far before my wedding should I start?
As early as you can. Several months gives room for a test, more than one session and full healing.
Can I have a session the week before?
It is not recommended, because fresh work needs time to heal and settle.
Can I tan or go on a beach holiday after?
Fresh work should be kept out of the sun. Plan holidays around your healing time.
Where is the clinic?
In Vaughan, serving Toronto and the GTA by appointment.
