How to prepare your skin before camouflage
Calm, healthy, un-tanned skin gives the best result. This checklist covers the weeks and days before your session.

Weeks before
- No tanning. A tan changes the colour I match to. Keep the area out of the sun, and avoid tanning beds and self-tan.
- Calm skin. If the area is irritated, broken out or sunburned, tell me. We may move the date.
“We don’t fix texture, we fix color.”
Evelyn Alvares Vega, founder of SKINEAV
Days before
- Pause strong products on the area: exfoliating acids, retinoids, scrubs. If a doctor prescribed something, ask them first.
- Hair removal: avoid waxing or laser on the area right before your session. Ask me whether shaving is fine for your area.
- Alcohol: skip it the night before.
