Treatment · Deciding
Is scar or stretch mark camouflage worth it?
Only you can answer that. Here is the honest framework I use with clients, so you can weigh it up clearly.

"Is it worth it?" is really three questions: will it work on my skin, will the result matter to me, and does the cost and time fit my life.
Will it work on your skin?
Camouflage tends to suit:
- Mature, flat or nearly flat scars lighter than your skin
- White or silver stretch marks
- Stable vitiligo
It suits less well raised, dented, red or very dark marks. See which scars can be camouflaged.
“We don’t fix texture, we fix color.”

Will the result matter to you?
Camouflage reduces contrast; it does not erase. Ask yourself what would change if the area were less noticeable. Many clients describe small daily things: choosing clothes without planning around the scar, not being asked about it.

Frequently asked questions
Is scar camouflage permanent?
It is long-lasting pigment in the skin but softens over time, so touch-ups may be recommended.
How do I know if camouflage will work for me?
