Getting your first camouflage clients: referrals and reviews
Evelyn's four steps to your first clients, expanded: portfolio, stories, referral partners and reviews.

Training gives you the skill. Clients come from a deliberate plan. Here is the one Evelyn teaches.
1. Build the portfolio
Covered in portfolio tips. Without real results, the other steps are much harder.
“In the beginning, your portfolio is everything. People need to see your work before they trust you with their skin.”
Evelyn Alvares Vega, SKINEAV Academy
2. Tell client stories
With permission, share why a client came, what bothered them and how they felt after. People searching for camouflage often feel alone with their scar. A story tells them someone else felt the same.
Real results and real moments

3. Contact referral partners
Reach out to local plastic surgeons, cosmetic clinics, dermatology practices and physiotherapists. Introduce yourself, explain what camouflage can and cannot do, and say you accept post-surgical scar referrals once scars have matured. Be professional and honest; your reputation with medical partners depends on it.
