Setting up a camouflage tattoo business in Ontario
The skill is the hard part. The setup is a checklist. Here is the one new artists ask Evelyn for most.

This is a general checklist, not legal advice. Requirements vary by municipality, so always check with your local public health unit and your own advisers.
1. Public health
Personal service settings offering tattooing in Ontario are subject to inspection by local public health units. Contact yours before you open, ask what applies to your setting, and keep records of your infection prevention practices. See paramedical tattoo rules in Ontario.
“In the beginning, your portfolio is everything. People need to see your work before they trust you with their skin.”
Evelyn Alvares Vega, SKINEAV Academy
2. Insurance
Speak with an insurer about coverage for cosmetic tattoo services, including camouflage.
